Continuous investment in machinery and capacity, RM Fintech A/S

Continuous investment in machinery and capacity

We continuously update our machinery so capacity keeps pace with the volumes and tolerances our customers require. New setups are thoroughly tested before entering production, and existing machines are maintained on fixed schedules to keep utilisation high throughout their service life. This avoids bottlenecks when a customer increases call-offs at short notice.

Investments are prioritised where the need is clearest: automation for unmanned operation, measuring equipment for tolerance documentation, or extra capacity in a machining process where demand is rising. Decisions are based on concrete orders and dialogue with our customers, not on general industry trends.

We inform customers directly affected by a change in our machinery about what it means for their ongoing deliveries. Changes are always introduced so that running series continue without interruption, and a new setup is only released once it has proven stable.

New collaborations and expanded assembly capacity, RM Fintech A/S

New collaborations and expanded assembly capacity

Demand for finished sub-assemblies and components ready to go straight into the customer's own product is growing. We are therefore steadily expanding our assembly capacity, so more customers can combine machining and assembly at a single supplier instead of coordinating across several links in the supply chain.

The expansion happens step by step, with new workstations, updated assembly instructions and training of the employees who take on the new tasks. We do not take on more work than we can deliver with the same quality we are already known for in machining.

Customers considering moving an assembly task to us are welcome to get in touch and discuss scope, documentation requirements and delivery format before a concrete agreement is made. We are happy to review the existing design before planning the start-up.

Focus on the quality system and documentation, RM Fintech A/S

Focus on the quality system and documentation

Our quality management system is certified to ISO 9001, and we continuously work to keep procedures and documentation up to date as production and customer requirements evolve. Internal audits follow fixed schedules, and non-conformities are handled systematically so the same errors do not recur on a later order.

We monitor the documentation and traceability requirements our customers in defence, medical and aerospace impose, and adapt our own procedures to match the customer's incoming inspection without unnecessary duplication of work. The aim is for documentation to follow the part naturally through the entire process.

Changes to our quality system are never introduced without first assessing the consequences for orders in progress. Customers with specific documentation requirements are welcome to contact us to discuss how our system supports their particular needs.

Employees and professional development, RM Fintech A/S

Employees and professional development

We are around 34 employees across production, engineering, quality and administration. When hiring, we look for solid craftsmanship combined with an interest in automation and process understanding, because that combination is what drives our production forward.

Internal training programmes and side-by-side coaching ensure that new knowledge about machines, programming and metrology is anchored broadly across the organisation rather than resting with a single employee. This makes us less vulnerable to staff turnover and gives a more consistent quality across shifts and teams.

We encourage employees to bring forward improvement suggestions from the shop floor, whether it concerns a fixture, a workflow or a measuring procedure. Many of the improvements that genuinely affect unit cost originate exactly where the work is carried out.

Industry engagement and customer dialogue, RM Fintech A/S

Industry engagement and customer dialogue

We follow developments in the industries our customers operate in and maintain ongoing dialogue with the defence, medical and automotive sectors about which requirements are coming for suppliers. This allows us to prepare capacity and documentation before requirements become binding.

Customer dialogue is also used to adjust our own offerings and processes. When several customers request the same type of documentation or the same delivery format, we build it into our standard offer so it does not need to be renegotiated every time.

We take part in relevant professional networks and stay informed about new standards for materials, surface treatment and metrology. That knowledge feeds directly into the technical input we offer customers early in a project.

Updates on delivery reliability, RM Fintech A/S

Updates on delivery reliability

Delivery reliability is a central priority for us, and we continuously work on capacity planning so that unforeseen fluctuations at one customer do not affect deliveries to others. The degree of automation in our production gives us a buffer that a more manual production would not have.

We keep track of the supply of raw materials and standard components used in our own production and in the assemblies we deliver, and adjust our stock holding if we see signs of longer lead times from our own suppliers. Customers with critical series are informed if there is concrete cause for concern.

For planned changes that may affect lead time, such as major maintenance of a machine, we notify the customers directly affected as early as possible, so it can be factored into their own planning.
