Our approach

Automation, standardised processes and systematic measurement are the foundation of our quality. We build long-term relationships with customers who need a stable and discreet supplier.

Danish production as a strategic choice

We have deliberately kept production in Denmark. It gives short decision paths, full control of processes and documentation, short transport distances and the confidentiality that customers in defence, medical and aerospace require.

The business model behind production, RM Fintech A/S

The business model behind production

RM Fintech generates revenue by solving a specific problem for industrial customers: manufacturing machined components with the quality, documentation and delivery reliability that the customer either cannot or does not wish to manage in-house. The business model is built on volume through automation combined with the flexibility that comes from having several machining methods under one roof.

We do not earn our income by selling machine hours in isolation, but by delivering a finished, documented component at the agreed price and time. This is an important distinction, because it keeps the focus on the outcome for the customer rather than on filling any single machine as much as possible.

The model presupposes a certain volume and predictability in the order flow, which is one of the reasons we work actively to build long-term customer relationships rather than relying solely on one-off orders.

The sectors we serve, and why, RM Fintech A/S

The sectors we serve, and why

The defence industry, medical technology, aerospace and automotive recur as core customers, because they share a common requirement for documented quality and delivery reliability, which our combination of automation and quality system is built to support. It is no coincidence that these particular sectors feature so prominently in our order book.

In addition to the heavily regulated sectors, we also carry out work for a wide range of other industrial companies, where documentation requirements may be less formalised but where the demands on unit price, delivery time and consistency are just as high.

The breadth of our customer portfolio provides a degree of resilience, because fluctuations in one sector can be offset by activity in another. At the same time, it ensures that our expertise in demanding documentation from the regulated sectors benefits all customers.

From order to delivery, step by step, RM Fintech A/S

From order to delivery, step by step

An order typically starts with a drawing or 3D model, which is technically reviewed before we confirm price and delivery time. For new components, this is often followed by a brief dialogue about tolerances, material selection and fixturing, in which we highlight details that can make the component cheaper or more robust to manufacture.

The component is then programmed in Mastercam, tooling and fixturing are prepared, and a first trial setup is carried out with inspection of the critical dimensions. Once the setup is approved, it is released for production, potentially as automated or unmanned operation for larger batches.

Finished components are measured according to the agreed measurement plan, documented and packed ready for shipment or for further processing at one of our regular partners. The customer is kept updated if anything along the way requires a decision on their part.

Technology as ongoing investment, RM Fintech A/S

Technology as ongoing investment

Our approach to technology is practical: a new machine, a new measuring instrument or a new piece of software is acquired when it solves a specific need, not because the technology itself is new. This applies equally to automation, measuring equipment and the IT systems that tie planning, production and documentation together.

Investments are prioritised on the basis of where they create the greatest value for customers, whether that is shorter delivery time, lower unit price or better documentation. It is an ongoing assessment that is reviewed as customer requirements evolve.

We follow developments in CNC technology, robotics and measurement technology, but we only implement a technology once it has proven mature and reliable enough to support unmanned, critical production.

History

Below are the key phases in the development of the company, from its establishment as a Danish machine shop to the automated production and assembly department we run today.

  1. Foundation

    The company is founded

RM Fintech A/S is established as a Danish machine shop with machining as its core business, serving Danish industrial and component customers.

  2. 2015

    ISO 9001 certification

The quality management system is certified to ISO 9001, framing our documentation and traceability.

  3. Automation

    Investment in automation

Robot cells, gantry loaders and bar feeders make unmanned operation a permanent part of production.

  4. Capacity

    FMS with 48 pallets

A flexible milling system with high-bay storage increases capacity and shortens set-up times.

  5. Assembly

    New assembly department

Sub- and final assembly goes into operation, allowing customers to reduce the number of supplier links.

Vision

We want to be the Danish subcontractor that demanding industries choose when precision, documentation and delivery reliability are non-negotiable.

Values

Precision

We measure, document and verify. Tolerances are held and deviations handled systematically.

Confidentiality

Customer drawings, data and products remain the customer's property. We work under NDA, use encrypted storage and role-based access, and never leave competing variants behind.

Automation

Automated operation delivers consistent quality, competitive prices and stable capacity.

Responsibility

A safe working environment, sound management and responsible use of resources and suppliers.

Location and infrastructure, RM Fintech A/S

Location and infrastructure

The address at Hartvig Jensensvej 2 in Nørre Alslev, 4840, was chosen in order to bring the entire production together in one place with room to grow. The buildings are laid out so that the flow from receipt of raw material through machining and assembly to shipment follows a logical route through the facility.

The location on Falster provides access to the main road network towards both Zealand and the rest of Denmark, supporting predictable transport times to customers and to the partners we work with on surface treatment.

Customers are welcome to visit the site and see production at close hand. Contact details, including telephone +45 54 46 50 72 and salg@rmfintech.dk, are always available to arrange a visit or ask technical questions.

Direction for the company's future development, RM Fintech A/S

Direction for the company's future development

We work on the fundamental belief that Danish production can remain competitive if the level of automation, expertise and processes keep pace with customer requirements. This is the belief behind the decision to invest continuously in both machinery and skills.

The assembly department is an example of how the company develops in step with customer needs rather than according to a fixed, predetermined plan. Future expansions will likewise be based on specific customer demand, not on general assumptions about the market.

We expect to continue investing in automation, measurement technology and employee skills, because this combination has historically enabled us to deliver to demanding sectors with the necessary documentation.

Dialogue and contact, RM Fintech A/S

Dialogue and contact

We prefer direct and specific dialogue over long, formal processes. An enquiry accompanied by a drawing or a description of the task is answered as quickly as possible, and we are happy to begin a technical assessment even before every detail is finally in place.

New customers are welcome to contact us directly at salg@rmfintech.dk or by telephone on +45 54 46 50 72 for an initial discussion of a task, whether it involves a single prototype or a fixed batch supply.

We are happy to enter into a confidentiality agreement before drawings and specifications are exchanged, so that dialogue can take place openly and specifically from the outset, without the customer needing to hold back out of concern for confidential information.
