Danish production, Danish ownership
All machining takes place at our plant in Nørre Alslev. Danish ownership and Danish production mean short lines of communication, control of the supply chain and a supplier you can visit and audit.
Confidentiality as a principle
Customer drawings, data and products remain the customer's property. We work under NDA and confidentiality agreements as standard, store project material securely with role-based access, and never leave competing variants behind.
From prototype to series
Prototypes, pilot runs and ongoing series production run in the same setup, so moving from development to production requires no change of supplier.
Materials and processes matching defence industry requirements
Components for defence-related work are often made from high-strength steel, stainless and acid-resistant steel and aluminium alloys, where the material's composition and mechanical properties must be documentable all the way back to the melt. We work with certified material from known suppliers and retain the certificates so they can be presented together with the finished part.
Processes are chosen to support the consistency defence work demands: fixed fixtures, documented cutting data and an inspection plan covering the dimensions the function depends on. We avoid processes that introduce unnecessary variation, even where it would be faster or cheaper, because the consequence of a deviation in this industry rarely justifies the saving.
We have experience with both stand-alone special components and standing series production for defence-related purposes, and we adapt the process to the nature of the job. A special component in small numbers typically requires more manual follow-up and more frequent inspection, while a standing series can be automated and monitored with statistical process control once the process is validated.
Access control and security around sensitive material
Drawings and specifications for defence-related work are handled with a level of access control that goes beyond our general routines. Material is stored separately from other customers' documentation, and only the employees assigned to the job have access. Physical documents, where they occur, are stored locked away, and digital material is protected with system-level access control.
We are accustomed to signing confidentiality agreements and, where required, project-specific security provisions before material is exchanged. We are happy to explain our internal routines for access control and storage in the initial dialogue, so the customer can assess whether they match their own requirements before a partnership begins.
Where a job requires that specific employees be named and approved to work with the material, we agree that specifically and keep the list up to date throughout the life of the job. Access is removed again once an employee no longer works on the job, and the change is recorded.
Capacity for both low volume and re-procurement
Defence jobs range from stand-alone special components in small numbers to spare parts that must remain procurable years after the original production has ended. We archive the programme, fixture description and inspection plan so a re-procurement can be carried out on the same basis as the original delivery, even when the original employee is no longer connected to the job.
For parts that are only re-procured at long intervals, we document to a level of detail sufficient to allow the part to be reproduced correctly even if tooling, fixturing or the specific machine has been replaced in the meantime. That requires a discipline in documentation that goes beyond what is necessary for a continuous, uninterrupted series.
We are happy to advise on how a spare parts strategy can be organised, for example whether it is more sensible to hold a stock of finished parts or to be able to produce at short notice on demand. The choice depends on the part's shelf life, storage requirements and how critical a short lead time is in the event of a sudden need.
Quality documentation tailored to defence work
Beyond our standard inspection reports, defence work can require additional documentation, for example extended material certificates, traceability of tooling and equipment, or a formal production approval before standing delivery begins. We clarify the documentation scope specifically with the customer before production starts, so there is no doubt about what must be delivered together with the part.
Where a customer requires third-party involvement, for example an authority representative or an independent inspector, at specific control points, we plan production so that kind of inspection can take place without unduly delaying the rest of the delivery. That typically requires planning well in advance, and we are happy to discuss it early in the process.
All documentation prepared for defence work is archived according to the same principles as other quality documentation, but with the extra attention to access control the nature of the work demands. That means the documentation can be retrieved years later without having been accessible to more people than necessary in the meantime.

The value of Danish production for security of supply
For defence-related work, it has value in its own right that the part is made in Denmark by a Danish company. It reduces dependence on long, international supply chains, where political conditions, export restrictions or logistical disruptions in other countries can affect delivery reliability. A short, national supply chain is easier for the customer to oversee and control.
We are not dependent on foreign subcontractors for the critical steps of the process. Machining, inspection and, in many cases, assembly take place in our own building in Nørre Alslev, and even surface treatment is handled through Danish partners. That means the whole chain from raw material to finished part can be followed within the country's borders.
The short supply chain also gives a practical advantage in a pressed situation: if a customer has an urgent need, we can quickly clarify capacity, material availability and lead time directly with the people who actually do the work, without going through several intermediaries in different time zones or under different legislation.
Approvals and registrations discussed case by case
Requirements for specific approvals, registrations or security clearances vary from job to job within the defence industry, and we clarify them specifically in the dialogue about each project rather than listing them generically here. That ensures we give precise, up-to-date information to the customer who actually needs it, rather than a general list that quickly becomes outdated.
Where a job presupposes an approval we do not yet hold, we discuss what is required to obtain it, and whether it is realistic within the customer's timeframe. We have experience running approval processes in adjacent industries and use that experience actively when a new type of approval becomes relevant.
We encourage customers with specific requirements to contact us directly early in the process, ideally before a tender or an enquiry is formalised, so we can clarify whether we can meet the requirements, or whether adjustments are needed on either side, before time is spent on a detailed quotation.
Long-term partnership rather than single deliveries
Most of our defence-related partnerships span several years, often because the components that go into a piece of defence equipment must remain procurable throughout its service life, which can be decades. We organise our documentation and archiving around that timeframe, not around the duration of a single order.
We prioritise maintaining continuity among the employees working on a given defence job over time, because the accumulated experience with a particular part and a particular customer has a value that documentation alone cannot fully replace. At the same time, our procedures ensure the knowledge does not rest solely with one individual.
We are happy to discuss framework agreements spanning several years, with agreed price adjustment mechanisms and fixed capacity reservations, so the customer can plan their own production or maintenance with confidence that the necessary components can be delivered when the need arises.
