Purpose of the supplier code of conduct, RM Fintech A/S

Purpose of the supplier code of conduct

RM Fintech A/S sets requirements for the suppliers the company works with, because our own customers in defence, medical and other regulated industries expect responsible business conduct requirements to be followed throughout the entire supply chain. The code of conduct describes the minimum standards we expect our suppliers to meet, regardless of where in the supply chain they are located.

The code applies to suppliers of raw material, standard components, surface treatment and other services included in our production, and is expected to be passed on to any subcontractors these suppliers in turn use. The aim is for responsible conduct not to stop at the direct supplier tier, but to follow the material and components through the entire chain.

We regard compliance with the code as a prerequisite for a long-term collaboration and continuously incorporate compliance requirements into our supplier agreements, while recognising that implementation may take place gradually at smaller suppliers, as long as there is a clear and documented direction towards full compliance.

Anti-corruption and business ethics, RM Fintech A/S

Anti-corruption and business ethics

We do not accept bribery, corruption or other forms of improper influence in our business relationships, and we expect the same approach from our suppliers, regardless of which market they operate in. Gifts, favours or other benefits that could be perceived as an attempt to improperly influence a business decision are not accepted in the collaboration with RM Fintech A/S.

Suppliers are expected to have internal procedures preventing conflicts of interest in connection with the awarding of contracts, and to inform us if a situation arises where an employee of the supplier has a personal relationship or financial interest that could impartially affect the collaboration with us.

We expect our suppliers to comply with applicable competition law and not to engage in illegal price collusion or other anti-competitive agreements, whether in relation to us or in relation to other customers, and we reserve the right to end a collaboration if serious violations of these principles are identified.

Working environment and working conditions, RM Fintech A/S

Working environment and working conditions

We expect our suppliers to ensure a sound physical and psychological working environment for their employees, including making necessary safety equipment available, ensuring workplaces are appropriately arranged, and having procedures for handling workplace accidents and near-miss incidents, corresponding to the standards we ourselves work by in our own production.

Forced labour and child labour are never accepted anywhere in our supply chain, and we expect suppliers to comply with relevant national labour market legislation on wages, working hours and employment conditions in the countries where they operate, as an unconditional minimum.

We expect suppliers to respect employees' right to freedom of association and collective bargaining, where relevant under national law, and that no discrimination takes place in connection with hiring, remuneration or promotion based on circumstances irrelevant to the employee's professional qualifications.

Environment and resource use, RM Fintech A/S

Environment and resource use

We expect our suppliers to comply with the environmental legislation applicable in the country in which they operate, including requirements for the handling of waste, wastewater and chemicals used in connection with material processing or surface treatment of parts included in our production.

Suppliers are encouraged to continuously work on reducing resource consumption and environmental impact in their own production, for example through energy efficiency measures, reducing material waste, or responsible handling of surplus material, to the extent relevant to the individual supplier's business.

When purchasing materials where there is a known risk of negative environmental impact or conflict-related origin, we expect the supplier to be able to account for the material's origin and for the measures taken to limit such risk in its own purchasing chain.

Quality, documentation and traceability, RM Fintech A/S

Quality, documentation and traceability

We expect suppliers to be able to provide the documentation necessary to support our own quality management, including material certificates, measurement reports and other traceability documentation, to the extent relevant to the specific delivery and the requirements our customers impose.

Suppliers are expected to have a quality system proportionate to the scope of the delivery they perform for us, and to be able to explain how deviations in their own production are identified and handled before a part or material is forwarded to us.

We reserve the right to carry out audits at suppliers where relevant, or to request documentation of specific processes as part of ongoing supplier approval, particularly for suppliers included in the supply chain to our customers within defence, medical or aerospace.

Reporting concerns, RM Fintech A/S

Reporting concerns

Suppliers who become aware of circumstances at themselves or in their own supply chain that conflict with this code of conduct are encouraged to proactively inform RM Fintech A/S, so a solution can be found jointly, rather than the matter first being discovered later through an audit or an external enquiry.

Employees at RM Fintech A/S who become aware that a supplier is not meeting the code can report this internally to the relevant purchasing or quality function, and follow-up takes place through a specific dialogue with the supplier about how to remedy the matter.

Serious or repeated violations of the code of conduct may result in the collaboration with the supplier concerned being limited or ended, while minor matters are, as a starting point, handled through dialogue and an agreed remediation plan within a reasonable timeframe.

Entry into force and legal approval, RM Fintech A/S

Entry into force and legal approval

This supplier code of conduct applies as an integral part of our supplier agreements, unless expressly agreed otherwise, and is expected to be accepted as a prerequisite for entering into or continuing a collaboration with RM Fintech A/S.

The code is continuously updated as legislation and customer requirements develop, and suppliers are informed of significant changes so they have the opportunity to adapt their own procedures within a reasonable timeframe.

This text constitutes the company's practical basis for dialogue with suppliers on responsible business conduct. Final legal approval of whether the specific wording and requirements are sufficiently precise and enforceable in the supplier agreements is carried out by the company's advisor.
