Quality, certification & customer security

RM Fintech A/S is ISO 9001 certified and works systematically with quality management, traceability and information security. Customer drawings, data and products remain the customer's property, and we treat all material confidentially under NDA with encrypted, role-based access.

Capabilities
  • ISO 9001 certified since 2015
  • 3D measurement of every part and SPC on large series
  • Measurement reports and batch traceability as standard
  • NDA, encrypted storage and role-based access to customer data
  • Customer IP is never reused or passed on to third parties

A quality management system covering the entire process

From receipt of drawing and material to final delivery we follow established procedures. Every order undergoes a structured review of tolerances, materials, clamping, programming and control plan so that we can deliver consistent results from the first part to the last part in the series. Management evaluates the system continuously and quality objectives are set and followed up at monthly and quarterly meetings.

Traceability and documentation

We document measurement results, machine settings, materials and batch numbers so that every part can be traced through the entire production flow. Measurement reports are supplied as standard, and material certificates are obtained on request. On large series we apply statistical process control, SPC, to monitor the process and catch deviations before they become defects.

Management's responsibility for the quality system, RM Fintech A/S

Management's responsibility for the quality system

The quality management system is owned by the company's management, not merely by a quality department operating alongside day-to-day operations. Management reviews the system at regular intervals, follows up on key figures for deviations and customer complaints, and allocates the resources needed to keep the system alive rather than a document sitting on a shelf.

The ongoing management review is used to decide where to invest in new measuring equipment, where further training is needed, and which processes need to be tightened up before they develop into a bigger problem.

We view certification as confirmation of something we already do, rather than as a target that drives behaviour. It is daily practice that keeps the system alive between external audits.

Deviation management and corrective action, RM Fintech A/S

Deviation management and corrective action

When a component does not meet requirements, the deviation is recorded and a description is prepared of what happened, why it happened and how it can be avoided in future. This is a systematic process that separates the individual incident from any underlying, recurring cause.

Corrective actions can range from an adjustment to cutting data or fixturing to a change in the measurement plan or additional training for the employees involved. The action is chosen based on the specific cause, not a standard solution.

Deviations that are relevant to the customer are communicated openly, together with the action we have taken. We prefer to inform customers early about a deviation rather than trying to resolve it quietly without their knowledge.

Supplier management and qualification, RM Fintech A/S

Supplier management and qualification

Material suppliers and the partners we use for surface treatment and other special processes go through a qualification process before being used for critical tasks. This includes an assessment of their own quality system, documentation and track record of deliveries that meet agreed requirements.

Ongoing supplier follow-up ensures that quality remains stable over time, not just at initial qualification. Deviations from a supplier are recorded and factored into the overall assessment of whether the collaboration should continue unchanged, be adjusted or be ended.

For customers in regulated sectors, traceability to the supplier's material certificates is essential. We archive the certificates together with the relevant production order, so they can be retrieved should the need arise later.

Internal audit and continuous improvement, RM Fintech A/S

Internal audit and continuous improvement

Internal audits are carried out across departments to check that the documented processes are actually followed in practice, and to identify opportunities for improvement before they become visible as customer complaints. An audit is not a check on individuals, but on whether the process supports what it is meant to.

Results from internal audits are compiled and used to prioritise improvement efforts, whether that involves updating work instructions, adjusting measurement plans or providing additional training in a particular department.

Continuous improvement is built into the system through regular reviews of key figures for quality, delivery precision and deviations. This makes it possible to respond to a negative trend before it develops into a recurring problem for customers.

ISO 9001 certification

Our quality management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015. The certification covers all management processes that affect the quality of our machined parts and assemblies, including quotation, order receipt, purchasing, production, inspection, delivery and subsequent follow-up. The certificate is reconfirmed through annual audits by an external certification body.

  • Established processes for quotation, order receipt, production and inspection
  • Risk-based thinking and continuous improvement
  • Annual management review with quality objectives
  • Re-certification and audits carried out by an external certification body

Customer security and confidentiality

We treat customer drawings, specifications and products as confidential. Before receiving sensitive material we enter into a non-disclosure agreement, NDA, that protects the customer's intellectual property. Electronic files are stored encrypted and access is role-based, so only employees with a specific need can open them. Customer IP is not reused or passed on to other customers or third parties.

  • NDA entered into as standard before exchange of confidential material
  • Electronic drawings stored encrypted with access control
  • Only relevant employees have access to customer-specific data
  • Customer IP is not reused or shared with other customers or third parties
Document control and traceability in practice, RM Fintech A/S

Document control and traceability in practice

Drawings, production orders, fixture descriptions, measurement plans and measurement reports are archived together, so that a component's entire history can be retrieved years after delivery. This is essential for handling an enquiry about a component that was produced a long time ago.

Version control of drawings ensures that production always works from the latest approved revision, and that older versions are archived but not mistakenly used for a new order. Changes to a drawing trigger a renewed review before production continues.

Traceability from material certificate to finished component is documented through the production order, making it possible to identify which other components may be affected should doubt arise later about a particular batch of material.

Making the customer's incoming inspection simple, RM Fintech A/S

Making the customer's incoming inspection simple

Measurement reports are prepared according to a measurement plan agreed with the customer before production starts, and they accompany the delivery in the format the customer requires. The aim is for the customer's own incoming inspection to be carried out quickly and without discussion as to whether a dimension has been correctly documented.

For customers with their own quality requirements beyond our standard practice, we adapt the documentation to fit their own system, rather than requiring the customer to convert our documentation into their format themselves.

For repeat deliveries of the same component, the agreed measurement plan is reused, so that documentation is consistent from delivery to delivery and the customer can compare results over time without having to account for changing reporting formats.

Future certifications and requirements, RM Fintech A/S

Future certifications and requirements

We monitor developments in the certification requirements sought in the defence, medical technology and aerospace sectors, and continually assess whether additional certifications make sense for our customers and our business. Decisions on new certifications are made on the basis of specific demand, not as a general upgrade without a clear application.

When an additional certification is achieved, it will be added here on this page together with the relevant documentation, so that customers can see which requirements our quality system covers at any given time.

For now, ISO 9001 forms the foundation of our quality work, and we prioritise fulfilling it fully in practice rather than accumulating certifications that are not supported by day-to-day operations.
